Out of the apartment and onto the piste! This is particularly easy with us, as the Ahornbahn cable car is just a 5-minute walk away. The largest cable car in the country takes you to the smaller of the two local ski areas.

The Ahorn is considered a mountain for connoisseurs because there is less hustle and bustle here and the wide pistes are ideal for beginners and families. The 18 kilometres of pistes also include the fantastic 5.5-kilometre-long valley run that takes you back to Mayrhofen.

‘action & fun on the piste’
The Penken cable car takes you to Mayrhofen's action mountain. This journey also takes just 6 minutes from the apartment. Once on the mountain, you can choose between a total of 120 kilometres of pistes, including the infamous “Harakiri” – a black piste with a gradient of up to 78 %!
You are guaranteed to find your own personal favourite run here, whether you are an expert or a beginner.
PenkenPark in Mayrhofen
With the PenkenPark, the ski area also offers a first-class attraction for snowboarders. The fun park with its various areas, obstacles and wall rides has long been a firm favourite among boarders.
There is even a small kids' park for the youngsters, where they can learn their first tricks on the board.
